Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America объявила об установлении партнерских отношений с NVIDIA Corporation и Aspen Media Products для совместного создания готовых 3D решений для рынка домашних развлечений.

Уже несколько лет графические процессоры GeForce FX Go компании NVIDIA поддерживают функции создания 3D-изображений и применяются в основном в игровых компьютерах. Специальный драйвер в операционной системе Windows Vista, работающий с технологией GeForce 3D, может генерировать стереоскопическое изображение в играх, использующих Microsoft DirectX. Он совместим со всеми процессорами серии GeForce 7 и выше а так же с 3D телевизорами Mitsubishi.

Компания Aspen разрабатывает медиа-серверы, обеспечивающие трансляцию музыки, фильмов и прочего мультимедийного контента, будет поддерживать и 3D технологии.
