Как и было обещано, сегодня вышла в свет обновленная прошивка для консоли PS3 под номером 2.36
Согласно релизу каких-либо значимых нововведений данное обновление в себе не несет. Была улучшена стабильность работы при запуске PS1-игр и только.

Однако в ходе релиза, представители компании подтвердили информацию о том, что следующая прошивка – 2.40 – добавит внутреигровое XMB-меню, а так же систему трофеев.
Как всё это будет реализовано, а главное, чего интересного появится благодаря этим нововведениям, станет известно после релиза прошивки 2.40
Произойти это должно в не столь отдаленном будущем.
