Samsung тоже будет выпускать 15,6-дюймовые панели для ноутбуков По сообщению источника, как обычно, ссылающегося на представителей отрасли, компания Samsung Electronics решила присоединиться к выпуску 15,6-дюймовых жидкокристаллических панелей для ноутбуков. Серийный выпуск указанной продукции компания планирует начать в ноябре. Этот шаг имеет большое значение для отрасли — как известно, Samsung Electronics является крупнейшим мировым производителем жидкокристаллических панелей.

Напомним, специалисты утверждают, что 15,6-дюймовые панели с соотношением сторон 16:9 могут вытеснить используемые сейчас 15,4-дюймовые панели из ноутбуков основного сегмента.

По имеющимся оценкам, ноутбуки с 15,4-дюймовыми экранами сейчас составляют 50% общемирового объема поставок, что примерно соответствует 60-70 млн. единиц в текущем году. Выход первых моделей с 15,6-дюймовыми экранами ожидается во второй половине текущего года, а до конца года такие модели заменят собой примерно 8-10% изделий с 15,4-дюймовыми экранами.

Кроме того, известно, что производители панелей рассчитывают в перспективе начать выпуск 17,3-дюймовых панелей с отношением сторон 16:9, чтобы максимизировать эффективность производства.
