Продажи Blu-Ray достигли отметки в 11 миллионов Согласно информации Redhill Group и журнала Home Media Magazine, с момента запуска формата в 2006 году было продано 11 миллионов дисков Blu-Ray.
В этом году уровень продаж увеличился более чем в четыре раза, по сравнению с результатом, показанным годом ранее. А ранние данные за май показывают, что большинство изданий фильмов за пять месяцев этого года достигли результата, превышающего суммарный объем всех предыдущих лет.

Три лучших издания по количеству проданных дисков – «Я легенда», «Поезд на Юму» и «Старикам здесь не место» - занимают 8-10% от общего числа продаж и продолжают расти.

Так же нам предрекают увеличение продаж во второй половине года, когда на рынке в формате Blu-Ray появятся такие картины как «Трансформеры» и «Спящая Красавица», что, несомненно, привлечет в мир HD значительно число потенциальных покупателей.
