EA SPORTS расширяет охват

Electronic Arts объявила о своих планах по расширению, для этого было создано подразделение EA SPORTS Freestyle, представляющие собой новую торговую марку для любителей «казуальных» спортивных развлечений.

EA Sports Freestyle – представляет собой переориентированное направление EA BIG. Если раньше под маркой «EA BIG» выходили узконаправленные проекты вроде симуляторов сноубордов или уличного футбола (недавний релиз Fifa Street3), то теперь EA решила переключиться на более широкую аудиторию. Под новой маркой FREESTYLE будут выходить проекты «для всех», для игры в которые не надо штудировать инструкцию, проводить много времени для выучивания «приемов» или «комбо» - в игры серии можно и нужно просто играть с друзьями, родителями, бабушками и дедушками, получая удовольствие без особого напряжения.

Вот слова президента EA SPORTS Питера Мура (Peter Moore): «..запуск EA SPORTS Freestyle — это важное событие в эволюции семейства брэндов EA SPORTS. EA SPORTS Freestyle станет прекрасным дополнением к портфолио компании и даст еще больше возможностей для экспериментов и завоевания максимально широкой аудитории.»

Всего за ближайшие три года в EA собираются выпустить 5 новых игровых серий.
EA SPORTS расширяет охват

Первой ласточкой стала игра FaceBreaker – веселый аркадный бокс. В данный момент кипит работа еще над тремя пока еще не анонсированными играми.

Но вернемся к боксу, как и все будущие игры под маркой EA SPORTS Freestyle, этот аркадный имитатор имеет увлекательный игровой процесс и отличную атмосферу. Приступить к игре можно будет практически мгновенно, что, безусловно, понравится тем, кто не любит возиться с настройками и хочет сразу начать игру.

Пока об игре можно судить лишь по игровым роликам, в которых представляют основных персонажей. Боксеры выглядят весьма колоритно – этому способствует мультяшный стиль игры. Разработчики не были стеснены контрактами со звездами, поэтому могли дать волю фантазии и создавать всё, что угодно.

Будем ждать демо-версию, чтобы опробовать формулу Freestyle «веселье с помощью двух кнопок».
