Новые матрицы для ноутбуков

Многие из нас привыкли к тому, что подавляющее большинство ЖК панелей являются широкоформатными. К примеру, самые продаваемые ноутбуки – это устройства с экраном 15,4", разрешающая способность которых 1280 х 800 или 1440 x 900 точек формата WXGA (буква "W" означает Wide).

Но скоро нас ждет следующий стандарт для LCD панелей, используемых при изготовлении ноутбуков, который обещает стать на долгое время господствующим. Это LCD матрицы с диагональю 15,6", которые уже разрабатываются такими производителями, как AU Optronics (AUO), Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), LG Display, и Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT).

Старания вышеназванных разработчиков были одобрены вендорами по производству и продаже компьютеров и ноутбуков, среди которых известные нам Dell, Acer, Asustek Computer, Toshiba, и Lenovo. В их планах начать выпуск ноутбуков с диагональю 15,6 дюймов уже во второй половине этого года.

Что касается стоимости LCD панелей нового стандарта, она будет мало отличаться от матриц 15,4". Диапазон цен: от 85 до 100$.
