Panasonic анонсировала чип нового поколения для Blu-ray плееров


В поисках решений для более дешевых и тонких BD-Live совместимых Blu-ray плееров компания Panasonic анонсировала процессор UniPhier третьего поколения, который, как утверждается, станет первым одиночным чипом способным поддерживать функцию «картинка в картинке» и все необходимые возможности Profile 2.0, DTS-HD MA, Dolby TrueHD, DivX 1080p, Ethernet контроллер, лазерный контроллер, графический движок – все в нем.

Данный чип на 50% меньше предыдущих, при этом имеет большую производительность и меньшую стоимость. Первые образцы новых чипов должны появиться в июне.
