HDD для ноутбуков будут в дефиците

В III квартале 2008 г. производители ноутбуков могут столкнуться с дефицитом 2,5-дюймовых винчестеров в связи с быстро возрастающим спросом на мини-ноутбуки, ультрамобильные ПК, а также обычные мобильные компьютеры, сообщает DigiTimes, ссылаясь на тайваньских аналитиков.

По мнению экспертов, рынок указанных компьютеров развивается настолько бурно, что вскоре количество выпускаемых винчестеров не будет соответствовать потребностям производителей. После успешного дебюта Asus Eee PC в прошлом году, некоторые компании приступили к выпуску или анонсировали подобные компьютеры, включая таких производителей ПК, как Hewlett-Packard и MSI. При этом в новых компьютерах используются жесткие диски вместо присутствующей в Asus Eee PC твердотельной памяти.
