Компания Sharp при сотрудничестве с AMIMON анонсировала выпуск LCD телевизоров X-серии с поддержкой беспроводной технологии WHDI.
Модели 37'', 42'' и 46'' предоставят пользователем возможность передавать на LCD панели несжатое HD видео на расстоянии до 30 метров. Подробной информации по стоимости моделей и времени поступления их в продаже пока не поступало, однако ходят слухи, что WHDI-оборудованное устройство будет стоить на $800 дороже.
