На прошедшей в начале этого года выставке CES компания Samsung продемонстрировала OLED панели размерами 14’' и 31''. В продаже подобные дисплеи мы увидим в следующие два года.

Вице президент компании Samsung, Woo-Jong Lee, отмети, что OLED дисплеи средних и больших размеров для мониторов, ноутбуков и телевизоров получат свое распространение в 2009 и 2010 году. Samsung собирается выпустить порядка 3 миллионов моделей в 2009 году, а затем довести количество моделей до 6 миллионов в 2010 году. Такие объемы должны снизить стоимость на подобные устройства в виду экономии от масштаба.
