Компания Samsung Electronics представила публике новые плазменные телевизоры Full HD 5-й серии (Series 5). Эти модели относятся к среднему классу.<br /><br />В серию входят две модели с диагональю экрана 50 и 58 дюймов. В обеих моделях использована усовершенствованная технология Filter Bright, основанная на использовании панели Samsung Super Black. Последняя поглощает свет и за счет этого создает более глубокий черный цвет, обеспечивая четкость деталей даже при ярком освещении. Кроме того, в телевизорах этой серии реализована фирменная технология Samsung Natural True Color, расширяющая цветовой охват. Все телевизоры Series 5 обеспечивают разрешение Full HD (1920 x 1080).<br /><br />Телевизоры оборудованы тремя портами HDMI 1.3 (1 сбоку и 2 сзади), а также боковым портом WiseLink, позволяющим просматривать контент с цифровых камер и MP3-плееров.
