В течение 2008 г. Российская телевизионная и радиовещательная сеть (РТРС) намерена закончить замену приемных спутниковых станций в зоне «В»(Восточная Сибирь). В противном случае из-за устаревшего оборудования большая часть населения может остаться вообще без телесигнала.<br /><br />  Как рассказал репортеру ComNews советник генерального директора РТРС Андрей Паутов, большая часть населенных пунктов уже переведена на вещание со спутника «Экспресс», принадлежащего ФГУП «Космическая связь». Однако жители труднодоступных районов до сих пор получают сигнал со спутника «Экран». «В некоторых случаях со спутника вообще вещает один канал, - говорит Андрей Паутов. - Возможно, 100 тыс. человек не очень много в масштабах страны, но для них отсутствие телеэфира может стать проблемой». Кроме того, до сих пор в ряде районов вообще нет никакого ТВ.<br /><br />  «Каждый раз как спутник входит в тень, мы с содроганием ждем, выйдет он или нет - производительность солнечных батарей снижается, энергетика снизилась», - рассказывает Андрей Паутов. Замена приемных спутниковых станций обойдется в несколько десятков миллионов рублей. Часть этих средств уже выделила Роспечать, остальные предполагается получить под корректировку бюджета.<br />
