Спустя всего лишь месяц с того момента, как компания Acer представила две новые модели мультимедийных ноутбуковна базе Penryn, Asus продемонстрировала свой новый продукт.
Модель M50 с диагональю 15.4'' имеет процессор Penryn, Blu-ray привод и ATI Mobile Radeon HD3650 с объемом памяти 1GB.

Ноутбук можно будет приобрести в модификации матрицы WXGA, WXGA+ или WSXGA+ с любой версией Windows Vista. Кроме этого, устройство будет оснащено WiFi, до 4GB, HDMI и встроенным гибридным ТВ тюнером. В ноутбуке также будет присутствовать специальный трекбол с двойной функцией, который позволит перемещаться между треками или плей-листами и прибавлять/убавлять звук. Стоимость новой модели ноутбука пока не сообщается.
