Sony планирует выпустить более 100 Blu-ray дисков в 2008 году

После окончания противостояния форматов, компания Sony заявила о планах по увеличению количества Blu-ray продукции.
Согласно статье в Video Business, студия собирается выпустить более 100 Blu-ray дисков в этом году.

Напомним, что начиная с 2006 года, киностудия выпустила всего 93 продукта.
Хотя Sony пока не объявила никаких сроков выхода, тем не менее, анонсировала такие фильмы, как «Иная из рода Болейн» с Натали Портман и Скарлет Йохансон, «Хэнкок» с Уилл Смитом и «Не шутите с Зоханом» с Адамом Сэндлером.

Sony также планирует активизировать свою маркетинговую политику с помощью сотрудничества с такими сетями, как Blockbuster, Best Buy и Wal-Mart.

David Bishop, Президент студии Sony Pictures Home Entertainment отметил: «Blu-ray – это самый лучший вариант (по сравнению со спутником и кабелем) для просмотра картинки высокой четкости».
