Пресс-служба компании Foxconn опубликовала пресс-релиз, возвещающий о начале стратегического партнёрства производителя с компанией DTS, целью которого является реализация в готовящихся к выпуску новых материнских платах таких передовых технологий, как DTS SurroundSensation и DTS Connect.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-02/1204286921_75611.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Платы Foxconn получат поддержку DTS SurroundSensation и DTS Connect' title='Платы Foxconn получат поддержку DTS SurroundSensation и DTS Connect' /></div><br /><br />Как утверждается, применение вышеуказанных технологий DTS в решениях Foxconn позволит значительно расширить функциональность сфокусированных на мультимедийных возможностях продуктов серии DigitalLife и тем самым усилить роль материнской платы как главной платформы для цифровых развлечений. При этом отмечается, что ПК с активированной технологией DTS Connect превращается в мощный медиа-центр с окружающим пользователя звуком. Ведь система DTS Connect добавляет компьютеру две возможности, а именно DTS Interactive и Neo:PC, причём как для многоканального, так и для стереоконтента. В полной мере используя широту канала передачи данных цифрового интерфейса, DTS Interactive обеспечивает однокабельное решение (через цифровой аудиовыход S/PDIF к аудиосистеме с поддержкой DTS), перекодируя весь цифровой звук в совместимый с DTS звуковой поток на скорости 1,5 Мбит/с. В свою очередь Neo:PC на базе матричной звуковой технологии DTS Neo:6 трансформирует любой стереоконтент (такой, например, как MP3, WMA или CD Audio) в симулированный до 7.1-канального окружающий звук.<br /><br />Что же касается DTS SurroundSensation, то тут используется прогрессивная технология постобработки для выведения впечатляющего по своему эффекту окружающего звука посредством всего двух динамиков либо наушников. Постобработка включает в себя важную психоакустическую информацию, меняющую человеческое восприятие и заставляющую слушателя поверить, что звук действительно объёмный. DTS SurroundSensation также увеличивает ослабленный стереоэффект и компрессированное цифровое аудио, в то время как одноголосые составляющие (например, сольные голосовые партии) остаются неизменными.<br /><br />Предполагается, что обе компании продемонстрируют свои первые совместные разработки на международной выставке CeBIT 2008, которая пройдёт с 4 по 9 марта в Ганновере. А вот появления подобных продуктов, готовых к массовым продажам, скорее всего, стоит ожидать только ближе к концу текущего года.
