Вместо этого компания сосредоточится на развитии собственной технологии цветовой гаммы, чтобы обеспечить лучшее качество отображения цвета.<br /><br />Технология квантовых точек предполагает добавление позади ЖК панели пленки с нано-размерными частицами, чтобы обеспечить ограниченный частотный спектр излучения подсветки и улучшенную цветопередачу. <br /><br />Син-Цзянь Туан, председатель правления и главный исполнительный директор Innolux, сказал, что технология квантовых точек более энергоемка, а также использует материалы, загрязняющие  природу (например: кадмий) и не согласующиеся с тенденциями мирового промышленного развития, поэтому Innolux не будет выпускать соответствующие продукты. Он отметил, что технология квантовых точек используется в основном для расширения цветовой гаммы дисплейных панелей, но Innolux будет использовать свою собственную технологию для преодоления недостатков квантовых точек. Производимые сегодня компанией панели с расширенной цветовой гаммой получили положительные отзывы у клиентов Innolux. <br /><br />Что касается прогресса в технологиях OLED и IGZO, Innolux заявляет, что они держат руку на пульсе развития всех новых технологий, но не будут спешить, чтобы выбрать наилучшее время для выхода на рынок.
