Такие дисплеи будут использоваться во флагманском смартфоне Sharp, начиная со следующего года.<br /><br />Производители смартфонов продолжают раздвигать границы возможного для мобильных дисплеев.  5,5-дюймовый дисплей Sharp имеет в общей сложности 8 294400 пикселей, что обеспечивает плотность 806 пикселей на дюйм (ppi). Новый дисплей Sharp выполнен на основе ЖК панели с технологией IGZO для управления, которая позволяет Sharp повышать плотность пикселей, снижая при этом энергопотребление. <br />Sharp в настоящее время поставляет свои ЖК дисплеи ряду производителей смартфонов, в том числе Apple.
