В настоящее время, корейский электронный гигант производит 14000 OLED субстратов в месяц (из субстратов нарезают OLED панели). Что позволит изготовить около 600000 OLED телевизор в течение 2015 года. В настоящее время изготавливаются только дорогие модели OLED телевизоров. Таким образом, LG также пытается использовать новую технологию для повышения престижа торговой марки. Термин OLED телевизор связан с высоким качеством и известно, что только LG производит  OLED телевизоры. <br /><br />LG Display будет и далее развивать свои производственные мощности, но сможет сделать это только в конце 2015 года, когда компания должна выйти на уровень выпуска 34 000 субстратов в месяц. В результате расширения производства, LG планирует в 2016 году выпустить около 1,5 млн панелей, что приведет также к снижению удельных производственных затрат.
