Данный продукт практически идентичен HT-J4500, от которого он отличается только количеством аудио колонок (2.1 вместо 5.1). Центральный блок оснащен приводом Blu-ray с поддержкой 3D, есть пассивный сабвуфер и две небольшие колонки.<br /><br />Центральный блок может конвертировать 2D контент в 3D, поддерживает Dolby TrueHD и DTS-HD Master Audio, а также выступает в качестве буфера. В секции усилителя используется технология Crystal Amplifier Plus, выходной каскад усиления работает в режиме D, обеспечивает мощность до 500 Вт.<br /><br />Из недостатков, стоит отметить отсутствие Wi-Fi, но есть Bluetooth для приема звука от любого совместимого устройства. Ethernet и USB позволяют воспроизводить файлы типов DivX (SD / HD), MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV, MKV, AAC, MP3, WMA, FLAC и JPEG. Имеется выбор мультимедийных приложений, но нет поддержки реальной смарт платформы.<br /><br />Очень простое подключение с использованием HDMI 1.4, оптического цифрового аудио входа и вышеупомянутых Ethernet и USB. Начало продаж  намечено на середину апреля, стоимость HT-J4200 в Европе  составляет 249 евро.
