На выставке CeBIT китайская компания BOE показала ЖК телевизор с 98" экраном и с разрешением 8K. В дополнение к высокой четкости 7680 х 4320 пикселей стали известны и лишь некоторые другие характеристики этого телевизора. Так заявленная контрастность составляет только 1 200:1, а цветовая палитра охватывает 72% от требований к цветовому пространству NTSC, яркость 500 нит. Время отклика равно 8 мс от серого состояния к серому.

Самый удивительный параметр энергопотребление, учитывая даже очень большое число пикселей и размер экрана. Речь идет о 1 200 Вт.
Как и для многих других представленных к настоящему времени моделей 8К телевизоров и для этой, кажется, не будет представлено ни стоимости, ни даты выпуска.
