Компания Silicon Image выпускает новый чип SiI9779, который выполняет функции интерфейсного процессора с поддержкой superMHL / HDMI 2.0, соответствует требованиям последней спецификации MHL, предназначенной для домашнего кинотеатра / рынка бытовой электроники.

Используя SiI9779 производители смогут быстро создать новое поколение продуктов с возможностью подключения к телевизорам и мониторам через разъем superMHL источников видео в разрешении 8K. Вход superMHL также позволяет мобильным устройствам передавать видео в разрешении 4K 60 кадров в секунду и более, с использованием существующих и новых разъемов, таких как USB Type-C с MHL в режиме Alt. Три входа HDMI 2.0 позволяют подключиться к существующим Blu-ray проигрывателям, видеорекордерам, сетевым источникам и прочим устройcтвам. Полная поддержка HDCP 2.2 гарантирует надежную передачу премиум-контента.
