Это, по сути, две версии одного и того же проектора, разница лишь в оптике. Модель с суффиксом ST (Short Throw) короткофокусная. Разрешение у обоих проекторов Full HD, а яркость 3200 люмен и 3000 люмен для H6517BD и H6517ST.<br /><br />Коэффициент контрастности 10000:1, в то время как лампы срок службы ламп заявлен до  4000 часов в нормальном режиме и до 6000 часов в режиме пониженного энергопотребления. Оба проектора совместимы с источниками 3D сигналов, но очки DLP-Link продаются отдельно.<br /><br />Стоимость новых проекторов Acer в Европе составляет 599 евро и 619 евро за H6517BD и  H6517ST.
