Между тем компания по-прежнему намерена в один прекрасный день выйти на этот рынок. Об этом свидетельствует и очередное сообщение The Korea Herald, корейский электронный гигант только что сделал заявку на товарные знаки для своих будущих OLED телевизоров.<br /><br />По сведениям от корейского ведомства по охране интеллектуальных прав, Samsung подал заявку на исключительное использование пяти наименований, а именно ”Super UHD OLED”, “Ultra Super OLED”, “Samsung Super Ultra OLED”, “Ultra OLED” и “Super UHD”. Компания намерена упредить таких конкурентов, как LG, обеспечив себе исключительные права на эти товарные знаки.<br /><br />Южнокорейский производитель выпустил свой первый коммерчески доступный OLED телевизор в 2013 году, но он оказался супер дорогим и компания с тех почти ничего не смогла показать. <br /><br />Samsung надеется вернуться в игру. Сегодня компания имеет туз в рукаве, благодаря своим инвестициям в новую технологию производства OLED панелей американской компании Kateeva, которая разработала и совершенствует метод струйной печати заготовок OLED панелей и утверждает, что эта технология поможет сократить расходы и повысить выход годных панелей. Но неясно пока, когда Samsung сможет начать массовое производство с использованием новой американской технологии.<br />
