Новая карта обеспечивает 56% прирост, по отношению к текущей максимальной емкости карт MicroSD в 128 ГБ.<br /><br />Компания не раскрывает детали технологического процесса, но емкость карты дает подсказку о близости к предельным возможностям существующей технологии производства карт типа SD.<br /><br />Объем памяти микросхем, как правило, увеличивается вдвое, как 16 ГБ, 32 ГБ, 64 ГБ и 128 ГБ. Следующей должна была быть карта емкостью 256 ГБ. Но, кажется SanDisk не в состоянии сделать это. Вместо этого, компания остановилась на 200 ГБ.<br /><br />Новая карта поддерживает передачу данных со скоростью до 90 МБ в секунду, или около 1200 фотографий в минуту.<br /><br />Она будет доступна во всем мире со второго квартала по цене около $400.
