Но производитель не представил тогда детальной информации, телевизоры серии даже не были показаны в живую. На европейской презентации серия S85C предстала во всей красе. Это изогнутый UHD TV на основе ЖК панели с боковой подсветкой и с технологией затемнения Frame Dimming, есть Motionflow XR 800 и ряд других новинок 2015 года, включая процессор X1 и Android TV.<br /><br />Sony S85C это изогнутый вариант Sony X85C, но с технологией Motionflow XR800 вместо XR1000 и со стандартной встроенной аудио системой. Телевизоры выделяются очень тонким корпусом, хотя он и не такой тонкий, как в серии X90 (4,9 мм), но все же тоньше, чем у моделей 2014 года.<br /><br />Новый процессор 4K X1 легко справляется с масштабированием до разрешения 4K и отличается более эффективной видеообработкой, телевизор способен принимать потоковое 4K видео. Есть режим веб-видео плеер, оптимизированный для повышения качества сетевого видео. <br />В Sony S85C используется новая система оптимизации контрастности Frame Dimming (она менее эффективна, чем локальное затемнение и не отключаемая) и технология X-tended Dynamic Range. Частота смены кадров ЖК панели 100/120 Гц, технология TRILUMINOS позволяет воспроизводить расширенную цветовую палитру, приближающуюся к требованиям стандарта DCI 4K.<br /><br /><div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2015-02/1423851565_sony2.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2015-02/1423851565_sony2.jpg" alt="" title=""  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />Из интерфейсов есть 4 входа HDMI 2.0, которые поддерживают 4K / 60 к / с.
