Японская телевещательная корпорация NHK собирается показывать 13-дюймовый OLED дисплей с разрешением 8K на отраслевой конференции IBC в конце января.<br /><br />NHK до сих не опубликовала фотографии этого дисплея с разрешение 7680 х 4320 пикселей, таким образом, плотность пикселей составит 664 точек на дюйм. Такая высокая четкость нужна в студийных аппаратных при ведении телевизионных трансляций. В последующем OLED панель подойдет для ноутбуков и планшетов. <br /><br />Разработку  13-дюймовой OLED панели выполнила японская Semicondurctor Energy Laboratory (SEL). А NHK разработала для съемочной камеры датчик с  разрешением 8K и с возможностью съемки с частотой до 120 к/с.
