Все модели будут использовать операционную систему (ОС) Tizen. Переработанный основной экран системного меню позволит облегчить доступ к контенту, обеспечит ускоренный доступ к ранее использованным источникам. ТВ смогут быстро синхронизироваться с другими устройствами с помощью Wi-Fi Direct и Bluetooth Low Energy.<br /><br />Smart TV сможет автоматически подключаться к мобильным устройствам Samsung. Среди новых возможностей будет "доступ к телевизионным программам со стороны смартфонов и планшетов, даже когда телевизор находится в режиме ожидания".<br /><br />Среди новых функций, доступных на Smart TV Tizen будет:<br /><br />- Samsung Sport Live: позволит смотреть спортивные программы и, одновременно, проверить статистику спортсменов и команд, все в пределах одного экрана.<br />- Playstation Now: теперь доступен на новых Smart TV Samsung в некоторых странах.<br />- Just Dance Now: танец-игра, разработанная в сотрудничестве с Ubisoft, будет воспроизводиться через пульт Samsung Smart Remote и мобильные устройства Samsung. Также будет многопользовательский режим.<br />- Milk Video: это приложение, которое будет предлагать на выбор наиболее интересные видеоролики из сети.<br /><br />Таким образом Samsung выбрала свою собственную платформу Smart TV, но с открытым исходным кодом.
