Это пока еще прототип, но LG планирует довести его массового рынка позднее.<br /><br />Под кодовым названием Мабиногион, 55-дюймовый 8K OLED-телевизор имеет не менее 33 млн пикселей в общей сложности - или 7680x4320 пикселей резолюции. Прототип был сделан в начале ноября, но LG ждет CES, чтобы представить его миру. Это, скорее всего, были изготовлены на новом OLED завода компании LG, который будет начать работать в массовом масштабе в этом месяце.<br /><br />Новая OLED панель также отличается более высокой яркостью, чем нынешние OLED телевизоры, достигнув 500 кд / кв. м. Поскольку сегодня нет источников видео в разрешении 8K, LG работает в тесном сотрудничестве с Nvidia, чтобы создать компьютер, способный стать таким источником.
