Эта модель оснащена OLED панелью с разрешением 4K, с диагональю 30". <br /><br />Наиболее поразительной особенностью нового монитора стала поддержка технологии High Dynamic Range (HDR), предназначенной для расширения динамического диапазона видео. Хорошо известно, что даже яркие сцены на экране традиционного монитора или телевизора не в состоянии полностью воспроизвести яркость реального мира. В случае BVM-X300, яркость составляет 1000 кандел на квадратный метр. Потенциал нового монитора был показан с помощью видео карнавала в Рио-де-Жанейро, снятого в разрешении 4К с 16-битной кодировкой цвета, которая была снижена до 10 бит при оптимизации под технологию HDR. <br /><br />Выпуск этого монитора Sony начнется в начале 2015 года, стоимость пока неизвестна, но, безусловно, будет очень высокой.
