Компания DTS известна, как один из лидеров в разработке нового поколения технологий многоканального объемного звучания.<br /><br />В частности, LG будет интегрировать декодер DTS-HD в Ultra HD телевизоры, в звуковые панели,  ресиверы и плееры. Что позволит обеспечить максимальную совместимость со всеми аудио форматами DTS, до 11.1-канальных вариантов и кодировок с поддержкой DTS Digital Surround, DTS Coreless Lossless, DTS Express, DTS-HD Master Audio.<br /><br />Декодер DTS-HD был разработан для поддержки потокового медиа контента, использует базовые кодеки DTS.
