Новый логотип Ultra HD, как некогда и логотип HD Ready, определяет минимальные требования стандарта, на на этот раз к телевизорам с поддержкой сверх высокого разрешения. К сожалению, многие современные телевизоры не отвечают этим требованиям.<br /><br />Логотип и требования были приняты DigitalEurope и будут использоваться по всей Европе. Эта же организация разработала ранее логотип и требования HD Ready. Производители телевизоров поддерживают инициативу и начнут использовать логотип в магазинах и в интернете в ближайшее время.<br /><br />DigitalEurope в значительной степени следует параметрам спецификации США СЕА. Требования таковы:<br />• Разрешение: Минимальное 3840x2160 пикселей при формате 16: 9 <br />• Цветность: Минимальная разрядность 8 бит, цветовая палитра Rec.709<br />• Видеообработка: 4K с кадровой частотой до 60 Гц <br />• Входы: Минимум HDMI 2.0 с HDCP 2.2 <br />• Звук: Минимум стерео PCM. <br /><br />Как и в случае для США, это абсолютные минимальные требования, они не включают некоторые из наиболее существенных элементов стандарта Ultra HD, таких как расширенная цветовая палитра. Несмотря на это, некоторые нынешних телевизоры продаются как Ultra HD, не отвечая требованиям в основном из-за отсутствия HDMI 2.0. В будущем, производителям телевизоров не  разрешено будет продавать эти телевизоры под логотипом Ultra HD.
