Японская компания утверждает, что светочувствительность в 1,420 мВ / люкс-сек  нового датчика RJ5DY1BA0LT  самая высокая в отрасли.<br /><br />Sharp добился высокой чувствительности при использовании пиксельной структуры размером 3,1 х 3,1 мк. Благодаря своей высокой светочувствительности, новый CMOS датчик позволяет снимать четкое изображение не только при ярком освещении, но и при низкой освещенности.<br /><br />Кроме того, потребляемая мощность датчика во время съемки 4K видео при частоте 60 кадров в секунду составляет всего 420 мВт. Низкое энергопотребление снижает выделение тепла датчиком изображения, что позволяет упростить конструкцию теплоотвода и снижает шум на видео. Новый сенсор поддерживает съемку 12-мегапиксельных неподвижных изображений и может использоваться для цифровых фотокамер.<br /><br />Первые образцы нового датчика Sharp доступны уже сейчас по цене 20 000 иен (145 евро), на запланированный объем производства в 80 000 штук в месяц компания должна выйти 31 октября.
