Отвечая на просьбы со стороны европейских потребителей Microsoft представила ТВ тюнер к Xbox One, чтобы обеспечить доступ к телеканалам высокой четкости с игровой консоли.

Тюнер принимает телеканалы через антенну (DVB-T и DVB-T2) и кабельную сеть. Тем не менее, нет возможности получать зашифрованные телевизионные каналы. Тюнер имеет интегрированную технологию Kinect, это означает, что вы можете переключать каналы голосом. Имеется функция картинка-в-картинке, функция паузы телевизора и поддержка Xbox SmartGlass, что позволяет управлять телевизором с планшета или смартфона.

Microsoft выпустит ТВ тюнер в Великобритании, Франции, Германии, Италии и Испании в октябре, а также испытывает его для других европейских регионов. Он будет продаваться по цене 30 евро.
