Исследование показывает, что людей либо не волнует сверхвысокое разрешение или UHD телевизоры все еще слишком дороги для среднестатистического потребителя.<br /><br />По состоянию на май этого года, 4K телевизоры составили около пяти процентов из всех проданных в мире ЖК телевизоров, хотя следует отметить, эти данные учитывают только результаты 13 ведущих производителей телевизоров, которые составляют 75 % от всех поставок. И все-таки демонстрируется довольно устойчивый, хотя и минимальный прогресс. В апреле продажи 4K телевизоров составили 4 % от всех телевизоров, три процента в марте и два процента в феврале.<br /><br />Хорошей новостью для производителей является, по крайней мере то, что этот устойчивый рост будет продолжаться. "Росту глобального рынка UHD TV способствуют планы телевизионных производителей, особенно китайцев, по увеличению объемов выпуска," - сказал IHS представитель Китая. "Увеличение объемов выпуска UHD телевизоров в основном планируется на вторую половину этого года."<br /><br />IHS отмечает, что в Китае самый большой спрос на Ultra HD телевизоры, но 4K модели по-прежнему не могут преодолеть десяти процентный барьер из-за повышенной стоимости. Эта ситуация может измениться в октябре, так как китайские производители планируют значительное снижение цен, чтобы попытаться увеличить популярность 4K телевизоров.<br /><br />В заключение IHS отмечает своего рода триумф плазменных моделей на закате развития технологии. По мнению аналитиков, продажи плазменных телевизоров "оказались выше, чем ожидалось" в этом году, благодаря футбольному Кубку мира. К сожалению, теперь, когда эта фиеста закончилась, ожидается резкое сокращение продаж плазменных моделей.
