Коэффициент пропускания света новинки LG в три раза превышает аналогичный показатель сегодняшних прозрачных ЖК дисплеев. <br /><br />Новая 18-дюймовая гибкая OLED панель LG имеет разрешение 1200 х 810 пикселей, выполнена на основе новой полиамидной пленки, позволяющей существенно увеличить гибкость будущих OLED дисплеев.<br /><br />Последние достижение корейской компании является результатом сотрудничества с Министерством торговли, промышленности и энергетики Южной Кореи, которое определило дисплейные технологии в качестве одного из новых стратегических направлений развития страны. Сегодня LG Display курирует национальные университеты и научно-исследовательские институты, которые занимаются разработкой дисплеев следующего поколения. LG заявила, что намерена разработать  к 2017 году прозрачные и сворачиваемые в трубку дисплеи с размерами более 60 дюймов по диагонали, сообщил пресс-секретарь Хюн Донг Хун.<br /><br />LG также показала традиционную жесткую прозрачную OLED панель, которая обладает утроенным коэффициент пропускания света в сравнении с существующими прозрачными ЖК дисплеями.<br /><br />Хотя LG Display сегодня и опережает конкурентов в разработке OLED дисплеев, многие сложные вопросы еще необходимо решить, прежде чем удастся наладить массовое производство.
