Согласно  первоначально объявленным данным, WOOX Innovations оценена в $135 млн..<br /><br />WOOX Innovations являлась дочерней компанией Philips, которая была создана в конце прошлого года после неудачно завершившихся переговоров по продаже подразделения аудио техники японской компании Funai. <br /><br />Аменcканский производитель гитар в последние годы демонстрирует серьезную инвестиционную активность. Ранее Gibson стала партнером таких брендов как  Onkyo , TEAC , TASCAM. Продукцию аудио, видео, мультимедиа и аксессуары под маркой Philips американский производитель теперь может выпускать  в течение семи лет. А вот Blu-ray плееры и системы домашних кинотеатров под маркой Philips американская Gibson сможет продаdать только с 2017 года.
