Новые модели LC-70UD27U и LC-60UD27U выполнены на базе фирменных ЖК панелей Qattron со светодиодной подсветкой. Динамическая контрастность достигает 10 000000:1, а частота обновления изображения составляет 120 (100) Гц при содействии AquoMotion 480 (400). <br /><br />Эффектная конструкция заключена в алюминиевую рамка шириной около 1 см по периметру экрана. Для оптимизации контрастности используется технология локального затемнения AquoDimming. Оба телевизора имеют сертификаты THX 4K, могут использоваться в качестве цифровой фоторамки,  имеют специальный режим для видеоигр. Sharp также интегрировала веб-браузер, который может работать в режиме разделенного экрана, для одновременного серфинга по сети и просмотра  любимых телепрограмм. В дополнение к приложению для управления телевизором со смартфонов и планшетов имеется поддержка Miracast и совместимость со стандартом DLNA. Встроенная 2.1-канальная аудиосистема состоит из размещенных под экраном динамиков и ориентированных в направлении зрителя. Общая выходная мощность равна 35 Вт (10 Вт х 2 плюс 15 Вт для сабвуфера).<br /><br />Доступные соединения включают в себя четыре входа HDMI (один вход совместим с HDCP 2.2 и MHL), есть компонентный вход, один вход VGA, один композитный вход, три порта USB (со встроенным медиаплеером), а также оптический  аудио выход, порт RS-232C, порт Ethernet, Wi-Fi и Bluetooth.<br /><br />Первые продажи начнутся в США, начиная с сентября, по цене $3000  и $4500 за 60 и 70 дюймов, соответственно.
