Причиной чему стал повышенный спрос на телевизоры с такими экранами в ряде стран Африки, Северной Америке и Европы. До конца 2014 года, вероятно, могут быть некоторые перебои с поставками соответствующих телевизионных ЖК панелей. Спрос на 32-дюймовые экраны возрос, а поставки панелей не могут быть увеличены из-за переориентации на панели больших размеров. До конца 2014 года, большинство производителей телевизионных ЖК панелей нацелены на производство панелей большого размера и высокого класса, таких как Ultra HD, которые обеспечивают повышенную прибыль. Нет оснований надеяться на то, что производители выделят больше производственных мощностей для выпуска панелей с размером до 32 дюймов.<br /><br />Основными поставщиками панелей с диагональю 32 дюйма, сегодня остаются China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT), LG Display и Samsung Display. LG и CSOT выпускают по 1,3-1,4 млн. 32-дюймовых панелей в месяц, а Samsung примерно один миллион. Однако, данное количество в настоящее время удовлетворяет примерно лишь 60-70% потребностей рынка.<br /><br />В связи с этими сообщениями аналитики рынка считают, что 32-дюймовые продукты по-прежнему остаются востребованными моделями на рынке. Так, примерно 33%, проданных в Китае телевизоров были с диагональю 32 дюйма. Предполагается, что и в дальнейшем на развивающихся рынках будут поддерживаться устойчивые продажи телевизоров с небольшими экранами.<br /><br />Наблюдатели также отметили, что в последнее время дефицит вызвал рост отпускных цен на 32-дюймовые ЖК панели, предполагается, что цены будут и далее расти от текущего уровня в $79-82.
