Полем для эксперимента выбран парижский регион, где телепередачи начнутся в течение 2015 года.<br /><br />Согласно плана внедрения телевидения сверхвысокой четкости, принятого  Высшим аудиовизуальным советом Франции (CSA), крайним сроком для запуска Ultra HD вещания по всей территории Франции выбран 2018 год, и если все будет хорошо, первой зоной Ultra HD TV станет приальпийский регион, где прием UHDTV станет возможен с 2016 года.<br /><br />Совместное использование DVB-T2 и кодирования HEVC позволит передавать до 3 UHD каналов в мультиплексе.
