Кроме того, в духе Microsoft Xbox One, Sony добавляет приложение ShareFactory для  редактирования видео  и возможность подключения накопителя к порту USB для экспортирования видео и скриншотов. <br /><br />Консоль также позволит предварительно скачивать игры до их выпуска, они будут отображаться в формате 720p.
