Среди новой серии LG LB730 есть пять моделей: 42LB730V (42 "), 47LB730V (47"), 55LB730V (55 "), 60LB730V (60") и 65LB730V (65 "). С ЖК панелями в Full HD разрешении используется прямая LED подсветка и система локального затемнения Micro Pixel Control, видеопроцессор Triple XD Engine и система компенсации искажений в динамике MPI (Motion Clarity Index) 800. Используется система пассивного 3D с поляризационными очками, как и во всех 3D телевизорах от LG, имеется функция Dual Play для игрового режима.<br /><br />Нервным центром мультимедийных функций является новая Smart TV платформа, основанная на WebOS под управлением двухъядерного процессора. Имеется интегрированный веб-браузер, множество приложений (в том числе Plex, LG утверждает, что, в целом, будут доступны более 1400 приложений). <br />В набор интерфейсов входят: Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi (Direct), Bluetooth, Miracast, Intel WiDi и NFC. Через USB или из локальной сети  могут быть воспроизведены с использованием кодека HEVC файлы: DivX HD, MKV, TS, AVI, MP4, MP3, WMV, WMA, AAC и DTS. <br />LB730V умеет аппаратно декодировать видеопотоки с поддержкой кодирования HEVC, что дает аппаратное ускорение.
