В этом году были представлены 4615 продуктов из 55 стран, которые оценивались 49 членами жюри, которые высоко оценили конструкции компании Panasonic. Кроме телевизора Panasonic WT60 жюри конкурса понравились аудио система домашнего кинотеатра SC-HTB170, беспроводная акустическая система SC-NA10 (UK), цифровые фотокамеры DMC-GH3, DMC-GX7, DMC-GM1K и DMC-LF1. Кроме лауреатами от Panasonicот в престижном дизайнерском конкурсе  стали полностью автоматическая кофе-машина, LED светильник, солнечный светодиодный фонарь, два беспроводных телефона, персональный компьютер, cетевая видеокамера.<br /><br />Премия iF Design Award является одной из самых известных и авторитетных международных наград в Европе — колыбели промышленного дизайна. Премия была учреждена Internationa Forum Design (Ганновер) в 1953 году с целью содействия развитию промышленного дизайна и присуждается по трём разделам — дизайн продукта, коммуникационный дизайн и упаковочный дизайн. Лучшие продукты ежегодно выбираются ведущими независимыми и корпоративными дизайнерами.
