Инженеры компании NHK создали  в главном олимпийском комплексе Сочи специальный кинотеатр, оборудованный 145-дюймовым плазменным дисплеем Panasonic в комплекте с многоканальной акуcтической  системой в формате 22.2.<br /><br /><div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2014-02/1392821160_nhk.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2014-02/1392821160_nhk.jpg" alt="Японская NHK снимает игры в Сочи" title="Японская NHK снимает игры в Сочи"  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />Гости и участники Олимпиады могут увидеть записи, сделанные на церемонии открытия Игр и во время соревнований по фигурному катанию. Используемое NHK оборудование включает пару 8K камер Ikegami с объективами FUJINON с 5-ти кратным увеличением и Canon с 10-ти кратным увеличением. NHK также делает записи с использованием 4K камер с частотой до 300 кадров в секунду для того чтобы обеспечить сверх медленные повторы.
