Но, по сообщению cnet.com, к сожалению отсутствует аппаратная реализация системы локального затемнения, отлично работавшая на прошлогодних моделях компании. Программная реализация "Micro Dimming" не столь хороша для  повышения качества изображения.<br /><br />Зато новая седьмая серия получит обновленные интеллектуальные функции, включая "Multi-Link Screen" и "Instant On", которая позволяет включать телевизор всего за 1.3 секунды, что очевидно становится актуально в условиях увеличивающегося программного обеспечения для поддержки смарт.<br /><br />Многоэкранный режим Multi-link может разделить экран на два отдельных окна, в каждом из них отображается разное видео (прямой эфир ТВ и YouTube, например). <br /><br />Для управления расширенными интеллектуальными функциями требуется уже 4-х ядерный процессор. Сообщается также, что седьмая серия превосходит шестую шириной рамки обрамления экрана, которая, если быть точным, здесь только 0,2 дюйма (5 мм).
