Для передачи использовался узкополосный спутниковый канал.  Скорость передачи после модуляции сигнала составляла 40.5 Мб/c (видео данные: 35 Мб/c). Для приема использовалась параболическая антенна  диаметром 45 см.<br /><br />Конечной целью NexTV-F является внедрение к 2020 году в Японии телевидения с разрешением 8K.
