Теперь Dolbу намерена предложить новые технологии для повышения яркости ЖК LED телевизоров.<br /><br />На приближающейся выставке CES в Лас-Вегасе, компания Dolby представит технологию, которая позволяет значительно повысить яркость телевизоров следующего поколения. Хотя, и сегодня яркость ЖК LED телевизоров в среднем составляет 300-400 кд / м &#178;, это значение Dolby предлагает увеличить до 4000 кд / м &#178;! <br /><br />Это заявление вызывает ряд вопросов. В первую очередь, что будет с энергопотреблением? Если вы следите за новостями о плазме, то знаете, что строгие европейские стандарты на ограничение потребления энергии стали одной из причин заката плазмы. Что уж говорить о рисках для здоровья? До сих пор мы советовали уменьшать яркость, чтобы не повредить зрение, особенно для детей. Кроме того, рекомендуемые при калибровке параметры яркости в темной комнате намного ниже, чем позволяет яркость существующих дисплеев. Мы часто тестируем телевизор с максимальной яркостью от 100 до 120 кд / м &#178;, что очень далеко от 4000 кд / м &#178;, обещанного технологией Dolby. Тем не менее многие специалисты, которые оценивали эту технологию на экспериментальном дисплее были в восторге от результата.<br /><br />Короче говоря, пока  больше вопросов и изумления вызывает это заявление Dolby.
