Более того компания Panasonic выпустила первый телевизор с поддержкой  DisplayPort, который также стал и первым в поддержке новой версии 2.0 для стандарта HDMI. Речь, конечно же, идет о серии UHD ЖК LED телевизоров Panasonic  WT600, в которой пока только одна модель с 65-дюймовым экраном, поддерживающая DisplayPort 1.2.<br /><br />Есть большая вероятность, что в следующем году DisplayPort будет шире представлен в других телевизорах разных производителей. А в связи с появлением очередной версии  DisplayPort 1.3 существует потенциальная возможность вытеснения интерфейса HDMI. <br />DisplayPort 1.3 будет представлен с возможностью передавать по одному кабелю цифровой видеосигнал 8K, два потока 4K или просто 3D 4K, все в формате YUV 4:4:4, при 12-ти битном кодировании цвета. Это серьезно превышает возможности HDMI 2.0!  DisplayPort 1.3 может обеспечить скорость передачи данных до 32,4 Гбит, гораздо выше, чем HDMI 2.0 с 18 Гбит.<br /><br />Правда, стоит учесть, что все это пока неофициальные данные. Как и то, что стандарт DisplayPort 1.3, скорее всего, будет представлен во втором квартале 2014 года, и мы, вероятно, не увидим устройства, использующие этот разъем до CES 2015.
