Никаких жидких кристаллов и электроники для управления ими. В результате прозрачность составляет 80 %, тогда как у ЖК панелей, по сведениям Pioneer, аналогичный показатель достигает лишь 30 %.При проецировании на экран изображения, включающего черные области, эти области становятся визуально прозрачными, и зритель видит не только изображение, но и что находится за стеклом.
