В последнее время американский сенатор Чак Шумер написал письма производителям телевизоров с просьбой принять более строгие меры в целях обеспечения безопасности. С тем  того, чтобы хакеры не могли наблюдать за вами, когда вы  смотрите телевизор. <br /><br />Эти опасения усилились в последнее время после того, как представители Isec сообщили, как легко и успешно были взломаны смарт-телевизоры Samsung  2012 года. Взлом позволил хакерам управлять камерой телевизора, веб-браузером и другими ключевыми функциями. <br /><br />Сенатор Шумер написал в пресс-релизе "Многие из этих умных телевизоров уязвимы для хакеров, которые могут шпионить за вами, пока вы смотрите телевизор в гостиной. Наши компьютеры имеют брандмауэры и другие меры безопасности, почему бы не встроить их в  телевизоры, чтобы создать стандарт безопасности для подключенных к интернету устройств".
