Аналитики считают, что компаниям удастся заинтересовать покупателей новым форматом сверхвысокого разрешения.  Futuresource считает, что уже в этом году продажи телевизоров пойдут вверх за счет моделей Ultra HD, реализация которых резко увеличится. Значительно более  высокие темпы внедрения UHDTV ожидаются к 2015 году, когда появится больше источников видео повышенного разрешения. А к 2017 году ожидается массовый интерес к телевидению со сверх высоким разрешением.<br /><br />Таким образом, Ultra HD должны оживить спрос на телевизоры, им предназначена роль, которую не смогли выполнить ни 3D, ни Smart TV, ни забуксовавшие OLED TV. <br />
